1. Acceptance. By creating an account or using M21 Capital ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. The Service is not intended for residents of jurisdictions where its use would violate applicable law.
3. Nature of Service. M21 Capital provides data visualization, algorithmic scoring, and research aggregation tools for educational and informational purposes only. The Service does not provide personalized investment advice, portfolio management, brokerage, or any regulated financial service. M21 Capital is not a registered dealer, adviser, or investment fund manager under the British Columbia Securities Act or any other securities legislation.
4. No Warranty. All data, scores, signals, push notifications, price alerts, and analysis are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Data may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, or completeness of any information.
5. Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, M21 Capital, its operators, affiliates, and data providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to losses arising from investment decisions, reliance on data, trading losses, or inability to access the Service.
6. Data Sources. M21 Capital aggregates data from third-party providers. Third-party data is subject to its respective providers' terms, accuracy limitations, and licensing restrictions. We do not independently verify third-party data.
7. Acceptable Use. You agree not to: (a) redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit any data or content from the Service; (b) reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data; (c) represent the Service as providing professional financial advice; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
8. Push Notifications & Alerts. Price alerts and push notifications are informational convenience features only. Alerts may be delayed, missed, or inaccurate due to network conditions, data provider limitations, or system maintenance. Alerts do not constitute recommendations to trade. You expressly consent to receiving electronic messages related to Service functionality, including price alerts you have enabled. You may withdraw this consent at any time via the Settings page.
9. Account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access at our sole discretion for any violation of these Terms.
10. Modifications. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email.
11. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless M21 Capital and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your investment decisions, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
This policy is provided in accordance with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA, S.B.C. 2003, c. 63) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2. Information Collected. We collect: (a) account information provided via our authentication provider (Clerk, Inc.) — email address, name, and profile image; (b) push notification subscription tokens if you opt in; (c) basic usage data necessary for Service operation. We collect only the minimum personal information necessary for the identified purposes.
3. Purpose & Consent. Your information is collected and used solely to: provide and maintain the Service, deliver push notifications you have opted into, and improve Service functionality. By creating an account, you consent to this collection. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account, which will result in cessation of Service access.
4. Limiting Collection & Use. We collect only information necessary for stated purposes. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Third-Party Services. Authentication is handled by Clerk, Inc. Push notifications use the Web Push protocol (W3C standard). Financial data is sourced from third-party APIs. Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy and terms. We ensure contractual protections are in place with service providers who process personal information on our behalf.
6. Data Storage & Transfer. Your data may be processed on servers located outside of British Columbia or Canada. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border data transfers.
7. Data Retention. Account data is retained for the duration of your account. Push notification tokens are deleted upon unsubscription. Usage data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
8. Security Safeguards. We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Access & Correction. Under PIPA, you have the right to request access to your personal information held by us and to request corrections. To make such a request, contact support@m21.capital. We will respond within 30 business days.
10. Cookies. The Service uses essential cookies for authentication and session management only. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used.
11. Children. The Service is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
12. Breach Notification. In the event of a privacy breach posing a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the BC Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner as required by PIPA.
13. Changes. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the Service with the effective date noted.
